Google

It is interesting that Google is fighting so hard to oppose the Justice Department motion to disclose info on consumer web searches. Google is all about collecting and cataloging info for others to search and use. So why don't they collect info on searches, catalog it and make it available for anyone to search. Google seems pretty content to catalog copyrighted material against others wishes. Funny how they don't like it when it happens to them.

About the author

I am experimenting with hosting my own blog engine on my website.  If anything seems broken or you think the structure could be improved please let me know.

 Upcoming things to do:

- Continue porting several external blog entries to my own blog engine

- Convert entries from XML to a SQL database such as MySQL

- Add the tag cloud back in.  I don't like the current implementation that changes the font size base on the number of posts.  I am either going to just alphabatise them or rank them by putting the ones with the mots posts at the top.

- Look into hooking the blog into some sites like Google and Amazon

- Setting up some analytics to monitor any traffic and click throughs (assumes anyone even reads this)

- Make connections to my blog from my two main social networking sites LinkedIn and Facebook

- Misc blog theme modifications
